OMG just lost an entire entry AGAIN.

Anyhow to recap lost of distractions and disasters especially since our dragonboats got destroyed some morons decided to make a $150,000 bon fire and basically burnt them to a pile of ash. At least we made it into the news and had good publicity training continues in borrowed wooden boats!

Last weekend I made it into the mixed team based on my erg (rowing machine) time trials which is great news (yippee) that Im on track with training and in the top 8. Except that its only the erg and it will be based on the water time trials too. Also, the pain in my shoulders and back was too much and I went to the physio on Tuesday who advised me that I had injured my thoracic spine area and I think all my muscles around there are very tight and were stretching my nerves which is bad. So this week has been sad hurty week in the style of Mars (the original injury sped) Ive been getting intensive physio and havent been water training at all but have been training to do cardio in the gym.

Somehow despite my recent bad eating habits - from the many various tony chan get lost parties, I managed to lose almost 1kg in body fat which means I am now on down to 72ish which is my lowest weight in a long time! Unfortunately the diet restrictions have turned into mental torture bringing on anxiety dreams of me eating huge amounts chocolate croissants and then waking up in a panic and then a feeling of relief after realising that I didnt actually consume all those calories. Maybe its a good thing to dream about eating them instead of actually eating them! Ha.

Anyhow only 8 days to go until the trials am seriously going to work hard on the diet and fitness in the next few days even if I dont get to do any weights I think Im strong enough and muscles doesnt go away until 4 weeks, so I think Im going to make it through the trials!

PS> GO AUSTRALIA!

Well folks. Only 9 days to go until individual time trials. So forgive me if I attempt to bite off your head from hunger and/or frustration in the next few days!

Anyhow my attempts to get into the mixed team are being thwarted by multiple distractions.
1. My manager has been doing cake and sausage roll runs for the past few weeks to raise money to make bail for the 'lock up your boss day' charity thingy that we signed him up to. I think he has raised the target of $500 and so I can stop sweating about being tempted by lamingtons, finger buns and sausage rolls!

2. My back and shoulder has been screaming in pain for the past few weeks but i thought i could ignore it and it would go away - instead I spent the team time trials grimacing from the pain. Have been getting intensive physio in the style of 'jana' to be in less pain for the time trials

3. Crappy weather = more food = less exercise = no loss of body fat. Am going to the dietitian tomorrow so all fats shall be revealed. Dont think I've lost anything (again) MOFO!

They are all the excuses i can come up with at the moment! Regardless of these distractions I will be kicking my arse next week in lead up to the time trials!

SHout Out to Tony Chan - who is off to honkers to seek fame and fortune and find good looking honkie/expats. Good luck old man - hope you get to build 'quality' developments!

Okay people - over and out! That's the latest update!

Yes blog Guilt.

Here's an update of recent events in my life.

1. Indecent Exposure. Yes around 52,000 residents and employees within Kog-ar-rah now know who I am, what I look like and that I am campaigning to win Gold at the World Champs for Dragonboat after they published an article about me in the local newsletter. (Cannot hide my face now!)

2. Release of XO Men DVD. Yes finally. no more and den!

3. Half a Kilo of Fat loss. Over the last 2 months I have been trying to reduce my body fat for time trials. My change in diet has included the purchase of a recipe book cost $27 PLUS $100 worth of dietitian consultation fees (which i was refunded $96 worth from MBF!) . This outlay has resulted in only 0.5 kgs of lost fat, though this might be inaccurate as it might just a human error in measurement. BAH! So I have resolved (yet again) to stop wasting my money and time and actually get with the program. My aim is to lose 0.5 kgs a week. I have 11 weeks. so 4 kgs would be my ultimate goal and close to 70kgs would make me happy and under 70kgs would make me weep with joy ;p . And the reasons? Well not only for time trials, but really for vanity too! What is the point of training my arse off when my arse wont actually come off, i ask you?!

4. First/last Dragonboat race of the season. On the weekend, we bid Old Man Tony farewell with his last race with CorVu - down in Panania. It was great except the water was cold and we didnt get to see any sharks. It took me a grand total of 7 minutes to get from my front door to the race venue. So much closer than Penrith, but not anywhere as nice facilities of course!

5. Ni Hao Anna! My old chinese dancing friend Anna came back for a visit to Sydney and we managed to catch up, it was as if she hadn't left at all! She's been working in China for two years and says that often days go by when she doesn't speak a word of english. How bizarre! (she speaks fluent chinese and japanese) Anyhow I'm going ot meet up with her in HK and go shopping craazy!

6. Have been slowly and painfully cleaning out my dump of a wardrobe. Instead of having things in messy piles, I now have things in messy piles inside separate compartments so as to 'contain' the mess. Yes alot of money spent on 'containers'. Anyhow will have to do ANOTHER big clean out of clothes I bought but never wore and clothes that do not fit (not because I have lost weight, rather they never fitted properly to begin with). It's so painful seeing all that wasted money being thrown out. If only i could get tax deducations for my contributions to charity clothing bins :p

7. Happy Birthdays to a Brian 'Slut Boy' and Cherie 'Mad Cow'!
